As a young boy, Michael always had his sights set on becoming a writer. It started with poems, short stories, and his fourth-grade class' newsletter.
In the late nineties, he designed, procured, and placed four board games with mass-market retailers on a national level. Concurrent with his enterpreneurial-based business, Michael provided developmental editing for two children's books.
Being the son of a Naval Commander and through a crucible of training, he has experienced the world like few have. Some say his stories spawn from the faint conversations he'd overheard as a child, the code words and top-secret atmosphere that was his life, twisted and forged into the seeds of imagination. He is yet to admit it, but hasn't denied it either.
Michael lives in San Diego, California, with his wife and three children. He draws inspiration from historical sources, personal experiences, and from God.
